The Donald & Linda Silpe Gallery is located in Taub Hall, the main facility of the Hartford Art School on the beautiful campus of the University of Hartford.

The primary mission of the Silpe Gallery is to provide a showcase for student work, giving students the experience of preparing and installing professional exhibitions. Student exhibitions are scheduled throughout the academic year and include BFA, departmental, individual and group shows sponsored by the Hartford Art School. In addition, the gallery hosts many special events and visiting artist lectures during the year.

The Silpe Gallery is also available to other organizations and individuals on a selective basis for purposes that are compatible with, or enhance, the mission of the Hartford Art School.

Hours:

The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am through 4:00pm.

The gallery is open weekends from 12-4 p.m.

Parking:

Free parking is available in the K-Visitor lot located in front of the Hartford Art School’s Renee Samuels Center. You may also park in any of the visitor lots on the University campus. These can be located on the university’s campus map which you can find here.
