The annual Hartford Art School Print Club Show and Sale opens today with an exciting reception planned for tomorrow evening, Saturday, February 13, from 5-7 p.m. in the gallery.
The Silpe Gallery will be all decked out for Valentine’s Day and filled with hundreds of beautiful prints of all kinds, starting as low as $10. Students, faculty, and alumni will be selling handmade prints, valentines, books, stickers, t-shirts, and more!
In addition to the prints for sale, there will be a silent auction including faculty and student prints, an original Kathryn Polk lithograph, a letterpress broadside from the Itinerant Printer, and a screen print by the Little Friends of Printmaking! AND you will once again have the chance to win a portfolio of prints made by the faculty and senior class of 2015.
You can find us on Facebook at Hartford Art School Print Club and follow us on Instagram @hartprintz. Make sure to like and love to stay up on all our prep and some sneak peeks at what will be at the sale!
A portion of proceeds will go to support student travel to the 2016 Southern Graphics Council Conference in Portland, Oregon
